Barely a week had passed since the appointment ceremony. Ryuichi's custom-made decorative military regalia still lay spread on her new, massive bed. Her personal quarters in the spacious commander's suite were still being rearranged, and she had yet to decide where to store and preserve the ceremonial garb. It would be worn only for formal NOA functions, but the new Tensho thought it would be a terrible waste to chance the beautiful garments becoming ruined from improper care.
Ryuichi stood in the middle of her new bedroom in a half-unbuttoned dress shirt and short skirt of her uniform, the hat of the formal costume clutched loosely in her hands. She had always been deceptively calm, hard to unnerve. But now, finding her reflection in the floor-length mirror resting against a wall, the young woman found herself a bit afraid. It was a monumentous occassion, with responsibility and power to match. She was humbled and honored to have been given the title of Tensho, having nearly half the Academy and it's militia passed into her hands. She who had no bloodlines tied into the concrete foundations of NOA- who had no blood at all to claim- escalated to Tensho of the Sky Division.
Her new counterpart, the Earth's Chiso, was a different story. One miss Aset Sharai, a name even the greenest recruits soon revered for it's impressive history. Ryu knew little of the other woman, other than that she excelled at nearly everything. For years Ryuichi had seen that name listed sometimes above and sometimes below hers on the grade rosters, the two seemingly always vying for first slot. Besides that she knew only what was common among the ranks- that Aset was as fiery as the tohsu she wielded and capable of seriousness as stark as her playfulness.
In other words, had Aset lacked her obviously superb skill, Ryuichi would have been convinced the General had appointed her to work opposite the new Tensho simply for their polarity. Fire and water, thrown into cohabitation.
It made her unconsciously straighten her shoulders, as though preparing fully for the weight of it all. A weight she would proudly and gracefully bear.
An unnatural cloud of fog swirled into existence, looping around the bluenette before solidifying into the ever-changing serpentine shape of her kamui. Shihihoukousen curled a clawed hand over one of her shoulders, long neck arched elegantly as he met her blue-eyed gaze in the mirror. With a fleeting smile the woman raised a bare hand to stroke the soft skin of the dragon's throat, feeling the purr vibrating within. The pointed snout lowered to briefly caress a temple half hidden beneath blue hair before withdrawing, once again looking to their reflections.
The Tensho blinked slowly as the ornate hat of that formal uniform was settled over her hair. "Houko?" she questioned quietly, turning to face the dragon half-draped around her. His liquid eyes stayed on the mirror, a shimmer of bright sapphire running through his dappled scales. "Not to be a sentimental fool, but it seems just yesterday I first found you, hooked up the that needle-drip and staring right at me though you couldn't possibly see me."
"I was feeling inexplicably annoyed, if I recall." she fondly replied, a teasing smile playing across her lips. The dragon lashed his tail in acknowledgement, lightly hitting his lady's calf before continuing. "You really were a pitiful little thing. So skinny and scared and silent. You didn't say a word for days, you know. Everyone made such a fuss over you."
"And the other boy?" she muttered, eyes narrowing slightly behind her glasses.
Shihihoukousen blinked, ears swiveling forward amidst his white mane. After a moment he nodded, shifting to the sound of chiming scales. "Yes... The both of you. It was quite an occurrence, two children from a base thought lost to atanan attacks. From the beginning there was little hope for the boy. You were strong enough after a few days to accept a kamui. He was not. Without the aid of tohsu, the atanan infection killed him. You were just a child, near dead yourself, Ryu. There was nothing you-"
"I know, Houko."
"You still wonder, then? If he was family? A blood sample of all who pass through NOA's gates are kept in the lab. His would still be-"
"Yes. Though my knowing would change nothing, only reopen old wounds. The dead are gone, so let us turn our attention to the living."
The dragon purred, scales bristling in admiration for the woman he had chosen as a child. "You will be a fine Tensho, milady." He left it unsaid, but felt a brief pang of regret that there would be none left of her bloodline when she died. Over the years the kamui had developed a deep affection for Ryuichi, unspoken but knowing it was entirely reciprocated. A thin smile graced her features, raising a hand to pull the hat from her head. "I will certainly do my best. For now, though, I believe I've earned a night's relaxation after nearly two decades of unwavering work."
The hat was carefully placed on the nightstand, Ryuichi moving to pull a book with a worn spine from the shelf. She left the bedroom, leaving the door slightly ajar and Houko slithered his way through the air after her. With a satisfied sigh the Tensho flopped into an overstuffed chair in the lounge are she would be sharing with the new, yet-absent, Chiso. Shihihoukousen- barely the height of a housecat now- settled himself along the back of the plush furniture to 'listen' to what Ryu silently read. Stretching a bit and listening to her shoulders pop stiffly, she looked reflexively around the empty room.
Deciding she was (obviously) alone besides the dragon, she crossed her legs and settled her feet onto the coffeetable. Another laugh echoed from the kamui, bringing a small grin to his mistress' face. They were in for an incredible job, but felt little apprehension. A competent, confident woman and her strong, loyal kamui. Coupled with a similar pair. NOA would be well supported, and EDEN would be ushered into a well-deserved era of security.
Turning the pages of her book, feeling the minute pressure of Houko's 'listening', Ryuichi was content.

Aset had been appointed the new Chiso of the Noble Offensive Academy the previous day and had spent all night and all day celebrating, and now with night long since fallen again, enough of the compound’s best alcohol in her system to make her slightly tipsy, she was ready to go to sleep.
Not quite stumbling but certainly not walking in a straight, confident line, Aset headed back to the officers’ wing with a big grin on her face, her head still in the clouds. She came from a long line of NOA leaders but none before her had reached her rank and certainly not so young. Her parents hadn’t had much confidence in her ability to go far given her less than serious nature.
Aset was wondering if she cared enough to search for her clothing bag and dig out her pajamas before she even stopped to try and remember if that officer had said they were moving her belongs today or tomorrow. She couldn’t remember and decided it didn’t really matter that much.
She rounded a corner without looking and ran right into a couple hiding in the shadows who were quite distracted with one another. Aset stumbled backwards and grabbed at the wall to steady herself before looking at who she had interrupted.
Recognizing the guy at least, Aset said, “I’m terribly sorry, Lietuenant Hideaki, I didn’t see you hiding in the shadows there with, um…” she trailed off waiting for the lieutenant to introduce his friend.
Recognition flashed across the facess of the couple with a bit of shock and fear mixed in on the lieutenant’s.
“M-Milady Aset, I mean Chiso!” he stuttered. “I, um, I’m sorry! I thought we…my impression was that you…I’m sorry!” he gulped and looked nervously at the new Earth Division Commander.
Aset tried and failed to hide her playful grin. The poor lieutenant was excellent in battle and at commanding the cadets but in social situations he was terribly awkward and got nervous so easily. He was so cute when he was flustered. He was very suddenly reminding Aset why she had liked him in the first place last month.
“Relax, Lieutenant,” she soothed. “You didn’t misunderstand anything, but none of that tells me who your lovely companion is.” Aset turned her fiery gaze back on the young woman who had so far been silent.
Though a bit awkward, the lieutenant was always a gentleman, sometimes he just needed a bit of a reminder. So reminded, he stood up straight and snapped off a crisp solute and offered the requested introduction. The girl was a sergeant named Mariko, newly appointed; a pretty little thing.
Aset returned the salute with a lazy hand and introduced herself before starting to back away in the direction of her new quarters.
“Well, I thought I was done celebrating, but now I’m not so sure. I’m told the commanders’ suites have very nice beds and knowing the previous Chiso, I highly doubt mine’s been used properly yet.” Aset let out the most innocent looking smile she could manage. “Join me if you like,” she said as she turned back round.
Hideaki had been one of her longer lasting flings, or playthings as the general liked to call them, he knew that they were under absolutely no obligation to follow if they didn’t want to. He knew that above all, Aset wanted the respect of those under her command and she wouldn’t get it by giving them that kind of order. Plus, he knew that she didn’t much care who she spent the night with; if he didn’t follow, she’d no doubt find someone else now that that’s what she wanted.
Aset could hear the two quietly conferring with each other before she heard the rushed footsteps of both of them hurrying to catch her up. With a delighted laugh she turned to give Hideaki a brief kiss before grabbing their hands and running up the stairs.
She stopped outside the commanders’ quarters to leave instructions for the morning and to talk quick with the new sergeant while Hideaki went on inside followed shortly by the two young women.
Hideaki’s grin died quite quickly when he saw the very blue form of the brand new Tensho sitting in the common room reading a book with a little blue dragon wrapped around her shoulders. He gulped and glanced nervously at the door he was now desperately wishing Aset would walk through before glancing again at the frighteningly powerful woman who was not expecting anyone to be in the quite off-limits room.
Aset and Mariko both came into the room seconds after Hideaki and both stopped short at the site of Ryuichi Tsuyumi. Markio’s smile died just as quickly as Hideaki’s had but Aset’s grew into a bright laugh which turned to a greeting.
“Lady Ryuichi Tsuyumi, it will be an honor to room with you,” she slurred a bit and made an only slightly wobbly yet dramatic bow before straightening with a flourish. The two officers beat a hasty retreat into Aset’s bedroom and Aset aimed a devious grin at the Tensho before starting to follow them slowly enough to give the other woman a chance to comment. Even Shula found the situation hilarious though no doubt for an entirely different reason and the room filled with her fiery laughter.

Ryu's eyes snapped up immediately at the interruption, fixing a blank stare at the young man. She blinked slowly, thinking he must be some officer sent with a message or delivering more of the boxes of Lady Sharai's belongings that had been arriving sporadically thoughout the day. Houko's ears pricked forward with interest at the potential company, raising his head and blinking away the sleepiness that Ryu's warmth had seeping into him. A few long seconds ticked by, the man continuing to stand stiffly just inside the door.
She snapped her book closed, making the man jump. Thinking the abrupt noise would maybe jog his brain into working, Ryuichi waited a few more seconds. Still nothing. Starting to become irritated, the Tensho opened her mouth to ask what his business was, stopping and following his nervous look to the door. What was going on, and who exactly was this jumpy soldier. With a sigh, she pulled her glasses from her nose, ready to dismiss the interloper.
Before she could speak, two more females sauntered into the room. Another Ryu didn't know, the other the unmistakable fiery haired Chiso. At least the man had been invited here, then. Houko settled comfortably again at feeling his mistress' irritation ebb, at ease knowing he wouldn't need to intervene should her temper flare at the unfortunate male. In turn, Ryuichi could feel his soft happiness at the unexpected company. The dragonic kamui did so love meeting people, and having some delivered into his company was a treat.
Aset said something after treating her new roommate to a broad smile. Ryuichi was too distracted with watching the Chiso's company flee to Aset's personal quarters. On her shoulder, Shihihoukousen rumbled out an amused purr whilst keeping his eyes closed. His subtle waves resounding through the room, an effect of being on the physical plane, alerted him to the alcohol coupling itself with the water in Aset's system. At the very least Ryuichi's new co-commander would be amusing.
The laughter- not Aset's and not Houko's- echoing dimly in the room brought the bluenette back to the moment, shifting her questioning gaze back to Aset. She'd heard rumors of Aset Sharai's playfulness but had never attributed them to-- well, "playfulness". Houko must have caught at least oart of the thought, for soon his own bubbling chuckles were coupled with what had to have been Aset's kamui's.
And then Aset turned to follow her company, her deliberate steps obviously waiting for Ryu to respond. Truthfully, the Tensho had no idea what to say, feeling slight apprehension at the prospect of sharing space with the new, clearly affectionate, Chiso. 'Say something, O Mute One.' Houko prodded, tickling the side of her neck with the furred tassel at the end of his tail. Ryuichi did her best to keep her expression neutral, but wasn't entirely confident she succeeded.
"Ah... Had I known you would be.... entertaining, Madame Chiso, I would happily have left you the suite for the night."

Aset stopped at the threshold of her extensive suite, a hand on the door frame. She bit her lip in the beginnings of worry. Aset was anything but stupid but that didn’t mean she didn’t make some rash decisions some times when she thought it didn’t matter. And the alcohol she’d consumed over the last two days certainly wasn’t helping her mental processes.
She had known that Ryuichi Tsuyumi was very unlike herself and frankly she had figured the woman would have been out or in her own private suite. She hadn’t considered how she might react to Aset bringing company home; she hoped that she wasn’t ruining the woman’s image of her, whatever that might be. Though she did so enjoy changing a person’s opinion of her.
Aset poked her head in the door and told her companions that she’d only be a moment and that they were free to explore the suite and find the Chiso’s bedroom for them all if they wanted before saying, “Don’t be ridiculous Lady Tensho.” Turning abruptly, Aset crossed the room in a few steps before bounding over the back of a plush chair landing with more grace than her blood alcohol level should have allowed with her legs crossed, her arms resting comfortably on the arm rests and her head cocked to the side.
She leveled her unnervingly orange gaze at the woman in front of her. Ryu was the same age as Aset but she got the feeling that the bluenette was much older and she wasn’t entirely sure she liked that feeling. It couldn’t be argued that Ryu was more mature – Aset would call it boring – unless they were on duty, but then again, Aset knew thirteen year olds more mature than she was when she didn’t have to be.
“After all, these are your rooms as well. And there’s plenty of room for the two of us,” she spread her arms out indicating the size of the suites before letting them fall back down to the arm rest where she gripped it to pull herself forward. “Or even the four of us, no?”
Shula, my darling, my love. Come out and make the acquaintance of our new partners, hmm?
Thank you, no, I’ve already met the Tensho’s Shihihoukousen. The overgrown lizard, Aset’s Kamui partner muttered the last with a hint of more than her usual amount irritation. Shula was a fiery pixie whenever she cared to show herself and she usually had a temper to match though it was just as usually all for show. Shula was cranky when it didn’t matter because she wanted to be, much like Aset was playful and immature whenever she could be because she wanted to be. The blue annoyance is very much like you, Aset, only I can’t stand him. You two should get along splendidly.
Aset mentally laughed at her crabby little Kamui. Oh, that is a lie, little Satu, I can tell from your tone. Satu was foreign name Aset had picked up somewhere in her studies, she couldn’t remember where, that she was fairly certain meant something about fairies or fables or some such. Shula seemed to actually not hate it, surprisingly. Regardless, get out, will you? Your commentary gets distracting and I don’t want to have to stop anything to tell you to shut up twenty times.
A small flower of flame blossomed on the coffee table between the two commanders then died back to reveal Shula’s foot tall form. “Fine, Aset,” she snapped haughtily, “but you owe me. What am I supposed to do all night, hmm?”
Aset shrugged minutely as she stood. “I don’t know, go entertain yourself. Burn something or something. Pick on Shihihoukousen since you find him so irritating. I do not care, just don’t bother me.” Aset had said the last to gauge Ryuichi’s reaction. She knew that Shihihoukousen wouldn’t mind because Aset knew that Kamui were honest with each other and Shula even more honest than necessary. Aset did not doubt that the water Kamui had already been well informed of the fire Kamui’s opinion of him.
Reaching the door to her own private sitting room, Aset turned again with a broad smile. “There’s absolutely no reason for you to have to spend your evening elsewhere every time I entertain, My Lady. And if you like,” Aset’s eyes flicked briefly up and down the Tensho’s frame, resting briefly on her half unbuttoned dress shirt before reaching her blue gaze again. “I’m sure the sergeant and lieutenant wouldn’t object another party.”
You know when to wake me little Satu. Don’t cause too much trouble, hmm?
Yeah, yeah, Shula said dismissively, Enjoy yourself and don’t worry too much about the Tensho’s impression of you. From what I’ve heard, she’s far from celibate herself.

Houko laughed, higher and softer than normal due to his at-the-moment petite size. The Chiso's very direct invitation was standard enough, Ryuichi being no stranger to the bed-sharing customs of NOA's older members. It was a way of sharing and releasing stress and tension, of building and reinforcing those bonds that help the Academy together, helped them live and fight seamlessly together. But the unabashed, poignant scan Aset trailed along her body that threatened to make Ryu blush.
A hasty, carefully subtle wave of her tohsu kept the liquid of her blood flowing normally, keeping it from staining her cheeks too obviously. She took a few seconds to carefully weigh her response, hoping to decline without offending. Ryuichi was no exception to sporadic promiscuity of NOA, but to haphazardly accept an invitation from the Chiso scarce days after their appointment seemed a poor choice, since word would undoubtedly spread like wildfire through the ranks. She couldn't help feeling a bit flattered- if not incredibly surprised- that a woman of such prestige as Aset Sharai would intimately offer to share her quarters.
At the moment it seemed a horribly tangled web to fall into. That and Ryu wasn't much a fan of such populated events. The thought wisping through her brain sent Houko into another fit of poorly contained laughter. He was promptly and inappreciatively brushed from his perch on Ryu's shoulder, huffing lightly before winding himself up a leg and onto the table, wiggling his ears in greeting at the fiery little form of Shula. 'Hello, Lady Shula, what an unbridled pleasure it will be to work alongside such lovely ladies as Aset and yourself.' He practically dripped sincerity, knowing full well the flattery would be poorly received.
Ryu shifted slightly, tucking a strand of hair behind an ear. "Your offer is very... kind, Lady Aset, though I must decline. Congratulations on your promotion, and.. enjoy your celebration." She did her best to keep her tone light but firm, sparing a slim smile for the redhead. With any luck the interesting woman would leave it at that and retire with her company for the night.
If not... Ryu thought the night would be very long indeed.

“’Unbridled pleasure’,” Shula repeated. “Yes, I believe there will be much of that.” Shula spared a quick glance at her mistress and partner before returning her attention to the blue dragon kamui in front of her. “I suppose it should be interesting at the very least with the two of them who couldn’t be more opposite if they tried,” Shula said thoughtfully before finishing with, “Leave me alone, Lizard. Just because we work together doesn’t mean we have to socialize.”
After Ryuichi’s polite rejection Aset realized it was probably for the best and never one to push anyone, Aset gracefully accepted one of her only rejections with a shrug and a goodnight smile before disappearing into her suit to find her companions.
Her final celebrations were quite enjoyable but they lasted perhaps a bit too long since Shula’s wake-up call woke Aset from a dead sleep whereas she usually was at least mostly awake when Shula came for her in the morning. With a groan of displeasure both from her exhaustion and her hangover headache, Aset rolled over and hid her face in the back of Sergeant Mariko’s neck. Shula, however, was not to be deterred and in short order she managed to get the new Chiso stumbling out of bed. Amazingly she didn’t wake either of her companions.
“Shula,” Aset muttered sleepily. “Do I have to do anything today?”
“Your calendar is not my responsibility, Aset, but I would imagine you do since you’ve now had three days to do nothing but party.”
Not one prone to sarcasm her response was exceedingly unusual and indicative of her current mental state. “Fantastic,” she said flatly before shuffling toward her overdone bathroom for a shower.

[[So, I made them kinda share a bathroom because I thought it would be funny. Hope that’s okay. Aaaaad if I need to change any of the architecture or designing of the room let me know, just made it up as I went. >.>;]]
Ryuichi, for all intents and purposes, was a fastidiously cleanly woman when she could afford the luxury of being so. The master bath shared by the Tensho and Chiso was a veritable heaven for the oft-vain woman, a spotless nirvana of gray-streaked marble, and polished mirrors, silver spouts and handles. A luxurious bathtub dominated the western corner or the room, quite large enough to entertain company, making the Tensho wonder briefly if Lady Aset had taken notice of the possibilities. Or maybe it was only Ryu’s affinity for water and it’s activities that produced such a thought. The far wall held two slim doors leading each to a more private, smaller washroom; toilet, sink, mirror, cabinet. Opposite the Jacuzzi-tub were two spacious, tiled shower stalls with fogged glass doors, a towel rack beside each. The remaining wall had two vanities on either side of the door leading to their quarters, the one Ryu had claimed as her own already holding an array of combs, glass bottles, and other cosmetic vanities.
Steam poured out the top of one of the showers, hot water cascading down full blast onto the bluenette as she hummed some old tune Houko had gotten stuck in her head. The dragon was still humming it with half-closed eyes, low and deep to complement the higher pitch of his lady, his long body draped and looped about the top of the stall. Today he looked entirely harmless, with a blunt snout and wide brow, big dark eyes, droopy ears and the only ornaments being a pair of charcoal-colored antlers sprouting from his skull. Scales had been replaced with a soft, leathery hide of purest white, a fluffy white mane running the length of his spine.
Before Ryu could even push the formidable mass of her wet blue hair fully from her face, her intended bottle of conditioner appeared within her reach, held loosely aloft by Shihihoukousen’s agile tail. With an automatic ‘thank you’ Ryu turned away from the spray and started working the cream through her hair, glancing up through the swirling steam at the pleasantly grinning dragon.
“You know, Houko,” she commented idly, “Many women would be perturbed having someone watch them so intently while bathing.”
His tail thumped amusedly against the wall, his humming dissipating into a trickle of laughter as he caught the humor in his Ryu’s eyes. “Yes, well, you are not many women are you, love?” The dragonic grin stretched in mimic as he stretched his back, flicking his ears good-naturedly and utterly content with the customary near-bickering. “And besides, it’s not as though it’s anything I haven’t seen before, Ryu. I’ve been occupying the top of your shower stall for nigh on two decades.” I faint grin was his reward, the woman moving to rinse her long locks of the jasmine-scented cream. Running water was the only noise for a few moments, and with her eyes closed in appreciation for the comforting liquid heat Ryuichi did not see Houko fully bare his impressive fangs in a devious smile. “Though I must say, my dear, beautiful Ryu, that you’ve grown into all of your lovely curves so very nicely.”
Blue eyes snapped open, falling for the barb just as quickly as the kamui had planned and hoped. “Shut up, Houko.” Watery laughter filled the room again Houko’s delight not pausing even as a bar of ivory soap bounced off his temple. “Really, Ryu, I’m not surprised that the other Academiens look at you not only for your position and unfailing, composed garce~” With practiced ease Ryu twisted her hair into a long twist to wring out some of the water before letting it fall loose and drip rhythmically onto the tile, the kamui’s words falling on impassive ears. She enjoyed being wet, and unless she had somewhere to be would let the water evaporate without any of her help. It was a creature comfort, the equivalent of a child’s blanket.
As she slid the fogged glass door open, she again found Houko’s tail in her path, this time offering a fluffy lilac towel in appeasement. She took it with a small huff and wrapped it snugly about her body, briefly meeting Houko’s eyes to offer silent forgiveness for his obnoxiousness. When she settled on the chaise before her vanity, Houko had started his tuneful humming again as he cheerfully resumed his silent observation of the familiar morning routine.
Ryuichi was halfway through placidly coiling her hair into a long rope braid when the door creaked open, making both her and the kamui turn to face the new company. And Ryuichi could feel Houko’s amusement bubble up again, almost palpable among all the water lingering in the air. He had always liked unexpected surprises.
“Why, Lady Aset, a very good morning to you.” he chirped amiably, dipping his head respectively from his perch. “I do hope that you thoroughly enjoyed-”
“Shihihoukousen.” Ryu warned quietly, shifting her gaze form the Chiso to her wayward kamui. By some miracle he fell silent, but the expression on his drakine face was one Ryu didn’t quite trust. She turned again to the pyromancer and mirrored Houko’s nod of respect, hands automatically resuming the work on her braid. “Good morning, Lady Chiso.” she greeted the other woman, her voice sociable but professionally polite. She had no way of knowing how Aset handled mornings. “I can retire to my private room if you wish to bathe in peace. Houko hardly knows how to hold his tongue.” A thin smile accompanied the words. Ryuichi wasn’t the most sociable creature in NOA, nor the most reclusive, but she intended to at least attempt a camaraderie with the woman she would be working alongside.

Aset brought a hand up to shield her eyes from the sudden light of the bathroom as she stifled a groan. Dragging her hand down her face in a show if silent exasperation at the second time Ryuichi has offered to vacate their common quarters for her Aset said quietly, “I’m normally not this serious in the morning…or ever…but I feel like shit and I want to make a good start with you. We share these apartments, Lady Tensho. There is more than enough room for the two of us and we’ve been living in dormitories and barracks for most of our lives. I don’t see any reason either of us should ever have to leave one of the common spaces in favor of the other unless we make such arrangements in advance.” Aset paused and set the candle she’d brought in on the unused vanity before lighting it with her finger. “Now,” she continued lightly. “I am going to take a shower and you are going to continue to take as much time as you like on your vanity at your vanity. When you do leave, please turn out the light; it is entirely too bright in here for my hangover.”
Without waiting for a reply, Aset half stumbled into the shower that was not obviously just used and found her bathing products ready and waiting for her. Throwing her robe over the door, Aset murmured, “Shula, could you please wake the Sergeant and Lieutenant long enough to inform them that breakfast is ending and find out if either of them have any duties they’re about to be late for please?” Aset could feel Shula’s scowl. I don’t like leaving you alone in the shower with the overgrown lizard in the room… Shula usually grumbled when Aset asked her to do menial tasks but such occasions were so rare she usually complied without much argument. Especially when Aset was in a mood. Even if it was a mood brought about my too much partying the night before. “I promise to scream like a little girl for you to come to my rescue if he peeks,” she whispered in reply to her cranky Kamui’s ridiculous argument with a smile.
Aset turned on the shower as Shula left to wake the officers in no doubt the most abrupt and rude manner she could think of. She wasn’t normally overly fond of showers as a rule but this one’s head must have come straight from heaven. Aset pressed her head against the cold wall as the shower head beat out a fantastic massage on her neck and shoulders and Aset vowed she would never party for three days straight again. She figured she could keep that promise for at least six months…maybe.
