The great guardian spirit Okikurumi has fallen into
slumber following the events of the Noble Offensive Academy and the deranged
Professor Utsuho Hasumi. The sudden withdrawal of Okikurumi’s wave sent an
outward ripple of calamities across the world. Crazed Atanan, awakened by the
chaos and unbound by Okikurumi’s will, roam free and the scattered remnants
of humanity live in fear and hiding.Necessity called for the re-establishment of
NOA and the development of i’touren into able young men and women. The new
generation is different, charged with quieting the rampant Atanan in hopes of
saving their failing race. Each NOA soldier, rather than having a kamui
technologically forced into bonding, creates a pact with the spirit in return for
the power they grant.Under the careful guidance of the Ekashi (those charged
with Okikurumi’s protection) and survivors of the previous NOA, the re-established
Academy strives to protect the sanctity of the spirits, humanity, and the balance of the world.
